Born in Lviv. Graduated from Lviv Secondary School No. 28, where she taught a number of subjects in German.

Education: Graduated from the Ukrainian Department of the Philological Faculty of the Ivan Franko State University of Lviv (1995), postgraduate studies at the Department of Ukrainian Language of the Philological Faculty of the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv (1998). In 2000, she defended her PhD thesis on the topic: “Ukrainian Physical Terminology of the Second Half of the 19th – First Third of the 20th Century”. Graduated from the Faculty of International Law and Business of the Institute of Postgraduate Education of the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv (2007), doctoral studies at the Department of Ukrainian Language of the Faculty of Humanities of the National University “Kyiv-Mohyla Academy” (2018), the Polish Department of the Faculty of Philology and Journalism of the Lesia Ukrainka Eastern European National University (2019), doctoral studies at the Department of Political and Legal Doctrines of the Faculty of Administration, Law and Economics of the University of Wroclaw (2020). In 2021, she defended her doctoral dissertation on the topic: “Football Vocabulary in Formal and Informal Discourses”.

Stages of work at the University: In 1998–2002 – Assistant Professor of the Department of Ukrainian Applied Linguistics of the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv; during 2002–2015. – Associate Professor of the Department of Ukrainian Applied Linguistics, Ivan Franko National University of Lviv; in 2005, he was awarded the academic title of Associate Professor; since 2024, he has been an Associate Professor of the Department of Ukrainian Press, Ivan Franko National University of Lviv.
