On the occasion of University Day, teachers of the Faculty of Journalism were awarded awards

On October 13, 2025, a solemn meeting of the Academic Council dedicated to the University Day was held in the Assembly Hall of the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv. The event was attended by members of the Academic Council, government representatives, students, University employees and invited guests.

During the ceremony, the teachers of the Faculty of Journalism received honorary awards and diplomas. In particular, the head of the Department of Radio and Television, Paraskovia Dvoryanin, received the Diploma of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine (“For Merit to the Ukrainian People”) from the hands of the Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Olena Kondratyuk.

The Rector’s gratitude for many years of conscientious work and significant achievements in scientific and pedagogical activities was presented to Khrystyna Datsyshyn, Associate Professor of the Department of Media Rhetoric and Speech Communication.

The gratitude of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine as the head of the group of the Municipal Institution of the Lviv Regional Council “Lviv Regional Small Academy of Sciences of Student Youth” for initiative and perseverance, high professionalism, conscientious performance of official duties and significant personal contribution to the development of education and science in Ukraine was received by Natalia Voytovych, Associate Professor of the Department of Theory and Practice of Journalism.
