Students-journalists got acquainted with the work of Ukraine Media Center (Lviv)

On Monday, May 30, students of the Faculty of Journalism visited the Ukraine Media Center (Lviv), which was launched by Ukrainian communicators with the support of the government and local authorities to help foreign media cover the Russian-Ukrainian war.

During the visit, the co-founder of the media center, journalist, diplomat, politician and public figure Andriy Shevchenko acquainted the students with the specifics of the work of this media platform and invited them to cooperate.

Students also took part in a briefing by the founders of Dattalion, the Ukrainian Data Battalion, Natalia Mykolska, Lilia Tymoshenko, and Mariupol resident Igor Ivashchenko, an eyewitness to Russian military crimes.

The event was initiated by Solomiya Onufriv, Associate Professor of the Ukrainian Press, Candidate of Philological Sciences.
