Associate Professor of the Department of Ukrainian Press Halyna Yatsenko became the winner of the International Literary Competition “Coronation of the Word”. This is one of the most famous literary competitions in Ukraine, which dates back to 1999 and has many nominations from novels to song lyrics.

Lecture by Kenyan journalist Rosemary Tollo

On Monday, October 27, the Faculty of Journalism hosted a lecture by Rosemary Tollo, a journalist specializing in justice.
Rosemary worked as an editor at The Standard, one of Kenya’s leading newspapers, and is now the co-founder and program director of Journalists for Justice (JFJ), a media organization that supports journalists across Africa in covering international crimes and human rights issues.

Lecture by French journalist Vincent Wartner

On Thursday, October 16, the Department of Foreign Press hosted a lecture by Vansen Wartner, a French journalist, cameraman, and photographer for LCI. Vansen has worked extensively in hot spots, creating documentaries, including on the Russian-Ukrainian war in Ukraine, the Israeli-Palestinian war in Israel, and the role of the Islamic State in Iraq.
